Electrical Supervisor

Job Description

The electrical supervisor is responsible for the installation, termination, maintenance, repair and commissioning assistance of HV & LV equipment within the existing Company A91 and A107 concessions.  The field electrical system is designed and installed generally according to recognized European standards and basically consists of generation at 13.8kV, HV distribution at 34.5kV and all associated HV, MV & LV switchgear, transformers, motor starters (including soft start & VSDs) etc as required for a self contained desert based oil production facility.

Job Requirements

1.    Ensure that all works are carried out in line with the Companies HSE policy and that all

personnel under his direction are aware of the policy.

2. Carry out installation, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting as required to all HV, MV,

& LV installations including but not limited to transformers, switchgear, motor starters (soft

start & VSDs), generators etc.

3. Perform testing and calibration of electrical installations as required
4. Assist in the start up and commissioning of new electrical installations.
5. Provide support and recommendations to large projects executed in the field such that they

can be completed timely

6. On completion of works ensure all relevant documentation, inspection certificates, single

line diagrams etc, are updated for integration into the Company electrical data base

7. Maintain good communications with all Company departments and Contractors
