Summary:
As a Project PowerEngineer, you will be responsible for analysing our electrical systems and recommending cost-efficiency
improvements. You will be also responsible for the operation and maintenance of power equipment. and monitor gauges,
valves, and other instruments to ensure that it’s running smoothly and safely.
The power project engineer design, develop, and control the electrical systems used in a particular project. he may workin
various projectsand should demonstrate a sound understanding of all the project’s electrical requirements. Will needs to
work to specifications and liaise with vendors and operation management.
Your duties will include designing and testing methodologies, conducting quality assurance, performing diagnostics,
inspecting equipment, and training new staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyzing of power system operational performance including the feasibility studies, reliability and risk analysis, and
improving engineering processes.
• Analyzing technical drawings, interpreting specifications, and determining the electrical requirements of projects.
• Completing quality assurance on all electrical components and projects.
• Creating work schedules, process documentation, and technical reports.
• Performing hands-on tasks such as repairing equipment or troubleshooting problems with machinery
• Maintaining documentation of operational and environmental conditions, such as temperature and humidity levels, to help
detect problems before they occur.

• Performing regular evaluations of the efficiency of equipment in order to make adjustments as needed
• Contribute to design of engineering solutions and produce detailed designs and specifications, prepare deliverables to meet
specific project requirements includingand not limited to:
▪ Electricalequipment sizing calculation
▪ Equipment data sheets
▪ Panel board and distribution boards schedules
▪ Electrical design philosophy
▪ Power transformer specification
• Monitoring and troubleshooting equipment and performing diagnostics.
• Guiding installation & commissioning of equipment such as rectifiers, inverter, and battery bank & air-condition.
• Load calculation for different types of equipment and load planning on BTS/Core/Datacentre sites.
• Providing power solution for access network, core network and transmission network.
• Diagnosing problems and troubleshooting equipment.
• Planning, design and implementation of delivery solution, and providing remote support to ensure successful delivery of
project.
• Ensure equipment and processes operate at maximum efficiency with top quality.
• Contribute to maintaining and enhancing quality management
• Maintain a daily log of operation, maintenance, and safety activities.
• Ensuring all deadlines and budgetary requirements are met
• Keeping abreast of the latest developments in electrical engineering.
• Any other tasks required of him in his field of work based on his area of knowledge.

Professional Experience/Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree or above Major in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant working experience in power delivery projects including but not limited to power network
optimization and operation and maintenance.
• Have the electrical engineering background and the knowledge of power systems such as (DC systems, UPS systems,
cooling systems, solar power system etc.).
• Have good knowledge of Datacenter, DG. Inverter, rectifier & battery types, and familiar with installation and commission.
• Has strong intellectual curiosity and interest in communications technologies.
• Proficient with MS Software Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project.
• The ability to prepare administrative and technical reports professionally.
• The ability to execute solutions and provide proper plans to support decision makers.
• Self-motivated and able to build a successfully team environment.
• Fluent in English Language.
