Context of the position and key challenges
The Protection officer based in Benghazi may requested to conduct mission to Derna and responsible of conducting household visits in Benghazi to do BNFs assessments in Benghazi weekly report for the three bases activities.
The protection officer will be responsible for the assessments and provide services if available through the protection network in Benghazi, also she/He will be responsible to update the referral system in the Benghazi, follow up with the team, make sure the work will go smoothly and communicate well with the local organization in the Benghazi, also he/she has good relationship with the authorities (local councils).

Required qualifications and technical expertise
Bachelor degree required
- At least 1 year of field experience in humanitarian work, protection experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with the aid system, and ability to understand donor and governmental requirement is preferred.
- Ability to work with culturally diverse groups of people;
- Ability to travel and work in difficult conditions and under pressure;
- Highly proficient in written and spoken English and Arabic.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint…)
