Job Overview
Oilfield Services is looking to fill a position of Sales Engineer in its Tripoli Office. This position is open for local candidates only.
The Sales Engineer manages DCS archiving of jobs/prints via the Data Delivery Centre Server, supports data delivery operations, and responds to customer service requests for prints/reports.
This position will be reporting to the Sales Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare sales quotes, review tender/proposal clarifications, and validate opportunity pipelines.
- Support the Account Manager in identifying and exploring new business opportunities and leads, and collect market activity intelligence.
- Provide technical support to customers, prepare technical and commercial proposals, and contribute to client presentations.
- Coordinate with Operations to ensure quotations meet SOW requirements and assist in ensuring all necessary resources are available to fulfill client expectations.
- Assist in financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, and monitoring receivables.
- Prepare and submit tender packages (technical and commercial) and handle customer inquiries regarding services and reporting.
- Coordinate with Field Engineers and the Data team for data delivery, ensure adherence to standard SOPs, and manage client feedback.
- Archive jobs and prints, interface in post-operations, and track signed support documents and service tickets for invoicing.
- Tracking ST both signed / unsigned, update status, collecting WO.
- Deliver Full Package (signed ST+Support Document+WO) to Finance Dept for Invoicing.
- Track and report on customer satisfaction and support data delivery operations.
Required background, skills and experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any related field.
- At least 6 years’ experience in oil & gas oilfield services industry. Preferably previous experience with any of the previous major OFS companies like: Schlumberger, Baker, Weatherford, Halliburton.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
