Contract Specialist

Company: Zallaf Libya for Oil and Gas Exploration and Production

Concerned Department: Supply Chain Management

Job Requirements and Basic Skills:

• Expat or local
• Bachelor’s Degree in law or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of experience in this position.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Arabic and English
• Good knowledge of the regulations and laws pertaining to contracts, contract documents and legal specifications for contracts.

Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Negotiate with suppliers to draw up procurement and service contracts.
• Administer, extend, end, and re-negotiate contracts.
• Evaluate and monitor the performance of contracts to determine the necessary modifications when extending them.
• Comply with and adhere to contractual terms, warn of deviation from contract specifications and delivery dates, analyze quotations and other data to determine the best prices and contractual conditions.
• Prepare tender invitations and bid brochures according to the unified contract regulations.
