Elaf Fashion company Announces the vacancy of (Assistant Finance Manager).
Objective:
Leading and managing the Finance department, defining, developing, and implementing plans, policies and procedures that meet the needs of the Organization.
Job responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Finance Manager, Asst. Finance Manager will play a lead role in assisting in the management of the finance team based in Tripoli.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the finance department.
- Manage all regional accounting offices.
- Assist Finance Manager in the preparation of daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports to management.
- Manage the process for the daily collection of cash takings from stores.
- Manage the process for cash flow regularly, prioritize payments and keep track of deposits and transfers.
- Manage the process of payable, recording of GRN/Invoices with timely vendor reconciliations.
- Maintain fixed assets register (Additions & disposal).
- Ensure daily cash banking and ensure bank accounts are approved and reconciled monthly.
- Ensure that all payments/transfers to the suppliers are executed on time to hit the suppliers’ bank account and according to the franchise agreement or any other agreed upon terms.
- Monitor operating costs, develop, and issue monthly reports for use both by finance department and department managers.
- Analysis of company performance to budget with explanations provided for variances.
- Assist external auditors through the provision of required/ relevant data and/or financial policy explanation to assist in the verification of published financial results.
- Providing relevant financial information to various departments.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- University degree in Business Administration with emphasis on Accounting or Finance.
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in a similar field.
- Good understanding of ERP or well-known accounting systems and procedures.
- Well-developed professional accounting knowledge and expertise in your own area.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong people management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
