Job Description

JOB TITLE:  Jr. Civil Engineer

JOB TYPE:     Full-time

Work LOCATION:    Libya ( Local travel to various worksites is required

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to prepare and calculate quantities and prepare tables of specifications and quantities
• Manage, supervise and visit contractors on site and advice on civil engineering issues.
• Ensure unloading of materials arrived at site
• Maintain material log
• Manage all materials and labor necessary to complete the project.
• Maintain work plan and ensure safe working conditions.
• Decent knowledge of all telecommunication activities.
• Provide advice on design issues related to technical guidelines.
• Archive project work, incoming information and outgoing information.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
• Other tasks as directed.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in the Civil engineering.

Experience:

• 0-1 years’ experience in the required position.

Skills:

• Strong work ethic and dependable.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Able to prepare technical reports.
• Fluent Arabic & Intermediate English level.
• Communication skills.
• Analytic thinking.
• Organized and able to meet deadlines.
• Ability to follow directions and procedures.
