Job Description

The commercial manager is responsible for business growth.  The duties include the following:

  1. Conducting market research to identify opportunities.
  2. Find and reach new customers as well as retrieving old customers.
  3. Promote products by arranging deals, packages, benefits, and offering complementary services.
  4. Locate and identify new projects and bid for them.
  5. Manage client relationships, identifying opportunities for new contracts.
  6. Solve client issues and provide them with good customer service.

Job Requirements

  1. The applicant must have very good work experience the field of ceramics and sanitary ware.
  2. Communication: Commercial Managers will often spend the majority of their workday communicating with others.
  3. Project management: Commercial Managers are in charge of moving a project along from its initial bid to the final completion. Strong organizational and project management skills are important when managing multiple projects.
  4. Leadership: Leadership skills will assist a Commercial Manager in developing relationships, managing contractors and creating bids for new projects.
  5. Problem-solving: Because problems are not uncommon, Commercial Managers will also need strong problem-solving skills to identify a problem and take the necessary steps to overcome it, while keeping vendor and financial limitations in mind.
