Construction Manager

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Engineering Degree/Diploma: chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation or Civil Eng.
• Education Level: Engineering Degree or higher.
• Languages: fluent in English.

EXPERIENCE

• Over 20 years of experience in engineering and construction activities plus 5 years previous experience as facilities engineering, facilities construction or maintenance engineering team leader

TECHNICAL BACKGROUND

• Design, construction and start-up of upstream facilities.
• General knowledge on site studies and surveys to input project activities.
• Knowledge on industry applicable codes and standards.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Engineering Degree/Diploma: chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation or Civil Eng.
• General knowledge on oil, water and gas handling facilities and processes from wells to custody transferring, including gathering systems, hydrocarbon handling and processing, storage, transport, operations and maintenance.
• Good knowledge on HSE, quality, petroleum business, project management and information management.
• Engineering Degree/Diploma: chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation or Civil Eng.
• Education Level: Engineering Degree or higher.

Job responsibilities:

•  Manage construction activities in accordance with integrated project management process, Codes and engineering and construction standards to achieve project objectives.
• Approve the scope and project execution plan for construction contracts activities on the basis of projects established objectives.
• Coordinate the service agreements for construction with project management team.
• Approve service contracts for construction and.
• Guarantee the application of relevant standards, codes, applicable laws and regulations for construction including the lessons learned and best practices.
• Implement project execution schedule, guarantee quality of work for construction and take corrective measures and additional resources to achieve project goals.
• Assure safety of personnel, equipment and installations during project execution.
• Approve change orders associated with project execution.
• Manage and coordinate team work and encourage professional development.
