Arrows of the Future is hiring confident females who love young children to be group leaders for various programs. This is currently a part-time position with the potential for an increase in hours as programs grow.
Job Description:
- Lead groups of children through English programs aimed at developing their critical thinking and character traits
- Facilitate intervention programs for small groups of children who have specific needs
- Create and deliver developmentally appropriate activities for children that promote physical, academic, social and emotional development
You will receive extensive training as part of this role as well as have ongoing coaching and support. Training will be given in trauma informed care practices, basic principles of child development, metacognition for children, student wellbeing and character-based education. You will also be trained in how to deliver the specific programs that you will then facilitate.
Requirements: High fluency in English, excellent communication skills, personal social and emotional competence, flexibility with work hours, commitment to professional growth, flexible mindset, experience working with children is preferred.
Ideal candidates will have a background in one of the following fields: Psychology, Education, Occupational Therapy, English, English Literature, Social Work
