Job Title: Finance/Admin Assistant
Job Purpose Provide general financial and admin support to HALO Libya Programme.
Working Relationships General staff support
Delegated Authority None
Responsible to: International Finance Manager (IFM)
Key Responsibilities:
Finance:
- Cash Book: Ensuring that all transactions are recorded in the cash book, on a daily basis, reporting any discrepancies to the IFM Manager
- Documentation: Working in conjunction with the Logistics Assistant, ensuring that all transactions have the required supporting documents before payments are made.
- Filing: Ensuring that all vouchers are scanned and saved in the dedicated folders;
- Receipts: reimbursing staff expenses when they are incurred, approved and correctly recorded.
- Salary Payment: Liaising with the Finance Officer to ensure that all salary payment is made and all payslips are signed.
Administration:
- Ensure that record of annual leave and disciplinary actions are recorded, submitting a report monthly to the Location Manager/Deputy Operations Manager
- Ensure that annual leave tracker is up to date, submitting a report monthly to the Location Manager/Deputy Operations Manager
- Work with Finance Officer to develop a national staff induction pack for new staff joining the programme
All HALO staff are expected to undertake the following general duties:

Ensure familiarity with and adhere to all HALO policies and procedures and keep informed of HALO activities
Willing to travel between cities in Libya as and when required.
