GBV Specialist for the Delivery of Gender Training Package
Trust is looking for specialized trainers to conduct training in three locations in Libya: Tripoli, Sabha and Benghazi, over November and December 2021. This training package will be focused on GBV, with the aim of improving the participants’ knowledge and skills around the topic of GBV. The workshops will be in the following topics:
- GBV Essentials – 2 days each training, 3 rounds
- GBV and Human Rights – 2 days each training, 1 round
- GBV Core Concepts – 2 days each training, 1 round
- GBV Case Management Training – 4 days each training, 3 rounds
- GBV Minimum Standards in Humanitarian Settings – 2 days each training, 1 round
- Clinical Management of Rape – 4 days each training, 1 round
- Total of 28 training days.
These trainings will all be conducted in a face-to-face setting and in Arabic, and will target service providers (e.g.,health workers, lawyers, police, teachers, social workers, community leaders, etc.)
Trainers are responsible for all training material development, pre/post test development, and the final report writing. Training materials should include presentations, exercise, handouts, case studies and group discussion.
We are looking for someone with at least five years experience in GBV, with fluent Arabic skills and excellent English. Tainers must have extensive knowledge of the MENA regions and Libya and be based in Libya.
