The ICRC Delegation in Libya has a vacancy for:
Housekeepers (4 positions)
The position will be based in the Tripoli Sub Delegation
Main responsibilities:
- Provides cleaning/housekeeping/laundry services for the ICRC premises;
- Prepares coffee and tea if assigned at the office;
- Informs the supervisor about any issues regarding the premises (materials needed out to carry out duties, malfunctioning equipment, damaged furniture or premises);
- Knows the place of fire extinguisher and how to use them;
- Takes care of water reserves;
- Checks the cleaning products/inventory (inform the direct supervisor when stock is low);
Required background, skills and experience:
- Primary school level
- Similar work experience desirable
- Basic knowledge of English
- Knowledge of basic Hygiene principles
- Good physical condition
- Excellent organizational and methodical abilities, sense of initiative and pro-activeness
- Service-oriented, with a strong sense of priorities and flexibility
- Interest for humanitarian activities (especially ICRC’s)
