Job Description

Responsible for performing a range of clerical and administrative tasks to support daily operations in an office setting. Their duties include sorting and distributing mail throughout the office, keeping the office supplied and organized. This involves lots of small duties, like typing and taking notes during meetings, providing administrative support to the HR department and assist with a variety of HR tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration. will also play a key role in ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

  • Overseeing clerical tasks, such as sorting and sending mail.
  • Keeping an inventory of office supplies and ordering new materials as needed.
  • Maintaining files.
  • Welcoming visitors to your office.
  • Answering phone calls.
  • Taking and delivering messages.
  • Ensuring the office runs smoothly.
  • Scheduling meetings and sending meetings invites attendees.

Assists with:

  • Recruitment and onboarding: Processing applications, scheduling interviews, onboarding new hires, and maintaining employee files.
  • Payroll and benefits: Assisting with payroll processing, administering benefits enrollment, and answering employee questions about benefits.
  • Performance management: Assisting with performance reviews, tracking employee development, and preparing reports.
  • Employee relations: Providing general HR support to employees, answering questions, and resolving minor issues.
  • Data entry and reporting: Maintaining accurate records, entering data into HR systems, and preparing reports.

Skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • +1 years of experience in HR or a related field.
  • Strong computer skills and experience using HR software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Detail-oriented and accurate.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
