Job Purpose
– To strategize, lead, and provide direction to (Company) human resources and Admin operations ensuring total alignment of the HR function on company strategic direction for+500 employee.
Key Accountabilities
1. Participates in the group’s yearly “Objectives Setting Meeting”, accordingly develops and sets the HR strategic objectives for (Company) and approves it from the CEO.
2. Consolidates and approves the HR annual budgets and plans prepared by the HR Managers on company level, based on projected operating costs and oversees its expenditure and ensures alignment with the Company’s strategies. Assesses the Company’s HR performance against set budgets and strategic objectives and provides Management with actionable recommendations.
3. Develops HR policies and procedures Manual accommodating and monitors its application and compliance.
4. Directs the implementation of strategic HR plans, projects, programs, and systems. Consolidates and presents to the CEO periodic reports regarding the overall Human Resources status of the Company, and the various functions on quarterly basis, outlining, achievements versus plan and challenges and suggestions for improvements.
5. Ensures the efficient execution and unification across the company of the HR competency based systems and policies covering recruitment, salary scales, compensation, incentives and benefits, promotions, disciplining, performance management, training, and personnel services based on the Company’s objectives, government regulations and labor legislation
6. Acts as a strategic advisor to the executive/senior management regarding key organizational and management issues.
7. Analyses performance trends, competencies and results and presents to top management, highlighting the organization’s skills inventory level and improvement areas, and also recommends HR initiatives to fill gaps. Follows up and monitors the implementation of the approved initiatives.
8. Develops and ensures implementation of a comprehensive compensation and benefit plans that are competitive and cost effective for the company.
9. Conducts performance appraisals sessions of his direct report in due time. Reviews and approves the performance appraisals conducted by his first liners to their subordinates, ensuring a timely, efficient and objective Performance Management process.
10. Approves and follows-up on the implementation of training and development plan for the HR team.
11. Full responsibility for recruiting and retaining the correct people.
Qualifications (Education & Work Experience)
– 10-15 years of experience with at least 5 years in a similar position.
– Bachelor degree from any discipline and additional post-graduate certifications are required.
