Job Description
The Information Management and Monitoring & Evaluation Officer plays a crucial role within the Marketing Department’s Information Management Unit. This role involves handling data retrieval, analysis, and reporting using SQL, monitoring and evaluating marketing campaigns, designing dashboards for company-wide insights, creating customer satisfaction and user experience surveys, and ensuring effective data governance practices. Reporting directly to the Head of the Information Management Unit, the officer will contribute to data-driven decision-making, campaign optimization, and enhancing overall customer experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Data Retrieval and Reporting:
- Utilize SQL and other relevant tools to extract, transform, and load data from various sources. • Develop and maintain standardized reporting templates for marketing campaigns and performance metrics.
- Generate periodic reports on key marketing indicators, providing actionable insights for campaign refinement.
- 2. Campaign Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Monitor the performance of marketing campaigns, tracking KPIs and assessing their effectiveness.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to analyse campaign data, identify trends, and propose optimization strategies.
- Prepare post-campaign evaluations, highlighting successes, areas of improvement, and lessons learned.
- 3. Dashboard Design and Management:
- Design and develop interactive dashboards to visualize marketing data, providing real-time insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their reporting needs and ensure dashboard relevance.
- 4. Survey Design and Analysis:
- Create surveys to capture customer satisfaction and user experience feedback.
- Analyse survey responses to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for enhancing customer engagement.
- 5. Data Governance and Archiving:
- Implement and uphold data governance standards, ensuring data accuracy, security, and compliance.
- Work with relevant teams to establish archiving protocols for historical marketing data.
- 6. Analytics and Trend Analysis:
- Utilize advanced analytical techniques to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in marketing data.
- Collaborate with marketing strategists to uncover insights that drive business growth and innovation.
- Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
- Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and methodologies related to information management and evaluation.
- Propose innovative solutions to streamline data processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and improve overall efficiency
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Information Management, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proficiency in SQL for data retrieval, manipulation, and analysis.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Experience in monitoring and evaluating marketing campaigns, preferably in a data-intensive environment.
- Proficiency in dashboard creation using visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Excellent survey design and analysis skills.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with customer satisfaction measurement and user experience assessment methodologies. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience in analytics and trend analysis is a plus.
