Job Description

  • Supervising all kindergarten teachers and assistants, ensuring they are providing the highest quality early years care and education.
  • Leading the kindergarten team in a considered way, to ensure that each teacher is inspired, committed and working to the best of their abilities and skills.
  • Ensuring that all events and activities are successfully completed within agreed deadlines.
  • Support and assist the international department supervisor (INS) in following up with Kindergarten teachers and assistants, ensuring that the educational process is running smoothly.
  • Weekly and daily reporting to the INS in relation to kindergarten department.
  • Develop and maintain a curriculum plan and high quality standards within the kindergarten department.
  • Ensure that all kg staff members receive relevant training and guidance to allow them to carry out their jobs in accordance with the school’s polices and procedures and through monthly performance reviews/reports.
  • Working in partnership with parents, maintain an effective and positive relationship with parents and guardians by providing regular communication with them.
  • Write a monthly newsletter for all parents that includes all news and updates in regards to the kindergarten department.
  • Develop and maintain an ethos of reflective practice across the kindergarten department and use information to support and develop future plans.

Job Requirements

1. Candidate must have Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Degree or a Professional Teaching Degree in English language.

2. 3 – 5 years of working experience

3. Excellent English language
