Legal & Compliance Officer
The Legal & Compliance Officer Ensures that ATIB’s regional office functions legally and ethically while meeting its business goals. He or She will be responsible for developing compliance and legal programs and advising management on possible risks.
Main Job Responsibility:
- Assist ATIB’s Legal and compliance Heads to implement and managing an effective legal and compliance program.
- Develop and review ATIB’s branches policies and procedures.
- Advise management on ATIB’s branches compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports.
- Assist the regional management and branch manager in any legal-related matters and provide legal advice as needed.
- Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit findings and compliance violations.
- Manage and review contracts and agreements related to the regional office in coordination with the heads of Legal and Compliance.
- Assess the branches operations to determine compliance risk.
- Ensure all employees are aware of the latest regulations and processes.
- Resolve employee concerns about regulatory compliance.
- Act as a point of contact with CBL and other public and regulatory entities that are related to legal and compliance.
Qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s degree in law; additional qualifications related to finance, business management, or a related field is a plus.
- 3 – 5 years’ proven experience in the compliance & legal field.
- Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures.
- Brilliant oral and written communication skills.
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent Arabic & English communication skills (Verbal/Written)
- Proficient in MS Office
- Team & Time management
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills
