Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
Support with Parts follow-up
Lead Country Operations: Oversee CSM development & training, ensure team adherence to QWIs/QMS & SOPs, establish organizational structure, lead operational/financial calls for Libya, manage BOWLER & KPI for Libya & CSM, handle senior leadership reporting, lead escalations & regional reporting, manage daily operations & lean projects, and oversee concession management.
Support with Pacing accuracy
Lead Country Capability Improvement: Manage Parts, Repairs, FC & Tooling, Financials, Commercial, Sourcing, Security, EHS, and Customer/Country aspects.
Improve DLI score, FV completion & EV accuracy
Lead Parts/Repairs fulfillment excellence: Enhance OTD, Tracker consolidation, and accuracy, streamline shipping processes, optimize logistics, manage AR release and LC conditions, and handle discrepancy management.
Support with status reporting & leadership communications
Support Field Service Excellence: Manage ORRs, PORs, Outage Dates Management, PORR, 3PM, Outage Planning Process/QWI, ensure outage execution excellence, oversee CX, and manage Outage Scorecard.
Knowledge transfer & guidance to Libya Team
Lead Financials Reporting & Accuracy: Handle pacing reporting, cash reporting, Sourcing PR/GR management, FC cost allocation, FMV exercise, ERP & Balance sheet management.
Lead Synergies & Culture: Foster collaboration between CSM & FS, ensure satisfactory CSM morale, support well-being and compensation management, lead team priority setting & checkpoint submissions.
Support Commercial & Growth Strategy: Maintain a healthy pipeline, assist ITO team with deal development & closure, ensure necessary LLs/BPs incorporation into new contracts, and contribute to defining the country’s growth strategy.
Administrative Activities: Manage PR/PO, maintain bank relations and take appropriate actions, oversee tax & auditing matters.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Engineer from an accredited College or University.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Power or O&G industries with minimum 5 years in management position.
- Minimum 7 years of GE experience in Gas Power is a must
- Familiarity in Libya Power sector & Libyan customers is favored
- Arabic speaking is a must

- Comprehensive P&L experience with regards to both Tx and LTSA businesses
- Awareness of GE OTR processes, especially financial policies as well as operational guidelines
- Familiarity with GE ITO processes, as well as GE’s offerings and commercial guidelines
- Knowledge of GE field services policies, capabilities & structure
- Awareness of GE KPIs, BOWLER, systems (such as DLI, EV, FV…etc) as well as strong proficiency and understanding of said KPIs and systems.
- Six Sigma training or equivalent quality training
- Prior customer interface experience with capability to build effective customer relationship
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Proficiency with computer tools
- Ability and willingness to travel 20% of the time, as required
