Responsibilities
- Planning and supervising fun and educational activities
- Managing a daily schedule that includes activities, lunch and rest time
- Observing children and taking notes of any problematic behaviour
- Feeding and changing babies
- Communicating with parents and staff members
- Ensuring the safety of children
- Helping children learn numeracy and language through daily activities
- Assisting with the preparation of materials and supplies for activities.
- Encouraging children to participate in group activities and promoting socialization.
- Supporting the Nursery supervisor in the overall operation.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment for the children and staff, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and areas.
- Monitoring and supervising the children constantly.
- Alerting the childcare supervisor to emergencies.
- Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by line management.
- Assisting the Employee Nursery Caregiver/Supervisor with the day-to-day operations of the employee nursery
- Providing care for the children, including feeding, diapering, and supervising playtime
- Collaborating with other staff members to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the nursery
- Enforcing strict safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the protection of the children
- Keeping accurate records of the children’s attendance, meals, and activities
- Maintaining a positive and professional relationship with parents and employees
- Following the schedule provided by the Caregiver/Supervisor
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Flexibility and openness to change
- A caring and nurturing attitude towards children
- The ability to work well with others
- At least 1 year of experience working with children in a professional setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must pass a background check

- Contract duration: Fixed-Term Appointment (FTA).
- Working hours: 8 hours daily, including lunch / 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Probation period: 1-3 Months.
- Salary/benefits: According to the Libyan Spider Salary Scale.
- Duty station: Tripoli.
