Operation Field Engineer

Main function of the job: –

Responsible for operations, design and optimizing processes operations in oil and gas fields. Liaising with the operations staff, provide technical support to solve operations problems in the daily basis and ensures the plant integrity and operate according to safety requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities: –

– Responsible for the safe and efficient operations of gas plant, including LPG facilities, injection units, dehydration, propane system, flowlines, utilities,..etc.
– Engage in day-to-day operations of the plant, monitor process operations conditions for various processes units and troubleshoot problems.
– Collecting and analysing data to make improvements to existing processes and plant facilities.
– Perform process simulating with softwares such as Aspen, Hysys,.. etc.
to ensure optimized methods are used.
– Evaluate and monitor plant facilities corrosion.
– Prepare conceptual design, scope of work, FEED, design, drawings such as process flow diagrams, P & I diagrams, process datasheets, equipment, specifications, control philosophies,.. etc for a new project.
– Perform process equipment sizing, data sheets, specification and purchase order for pumps, separator, columns, heat exchanger,.. etc.
– Review and approve of vendor’s documents, drawings, datasheets, specifications and calculations.
– Participate in plant HAZOP studies.
– Perform training for junior process engineers.
– Prepare technical and routine plant operation reports.

Qualifications & Experience: –

BSc Degree in Chemical Engineering.
-12+ years’ experience in Oil & Gas fields, process facilities operations and projects.
– Familiar with corrosion problems, plant equipment materials specification and familiar with ASMI, API, NACE,.. etc.

• Work Cycle of 42 Days Work /21 Days Leave Including Travel days • 10 Hours a day • 7 Days a week • Payment for work days only • Airfare travel by Economy Class • Medical cover • Accident Cover • Accommodation, Food, and internal transportation will be provided by the client • Single Status
