About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and organized Operations Coordinator to join our team. You will play a vital role in supporting the institute’s day-to-day operations, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for students and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Student Admissions & Enrollment:
- Manage the application process from initial inquiry to enrollment, including processing applications, handling inquiries, and conducting reviews (if applicable).
- Schedule and conduct interviews (if applicable) for prospective students or facilitate interviews with faculty and instructors.
- Offer admission, manage enrollment paperwork, and guide students through the registration process.
- Collect registration fees and associated costs from students according to established procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including financial information.
- Front Desk & Operations Management:
- Greet visitors and students warmly, answer phones, and provide comprehensive information about the institute.
- Manage the front desk, handling administrative tasks, scheduling appointments, and booking facilities and resources for classes, events, or guest chefs.
- Oversee inventory and supplies, ensuring necessary baking ingredients, cooking equipment, and materials are available.
- Generate reports and presentations on enrollment numbers, student progress, and other operational data.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with diverse stakeholders, including prospective and enrolled students, faculty, staff, chefs, and other relevant individuals.
- Provide administrative support to faculty and instructors regarding scheduling, logistics, and other needs to ensure smooth class and workshop operations.
- Foster a positive and helpful environment for all students, visitors, and staff.
- Additional Responsibilities: (May include, depending on the need)
- Organize and facilitate orientation sessions for new students.
- Manage social media and online presence to attract potential students.
- Coordinate special events, workshops, or demonstrations.
- Maintain a visually appealing and organized learning environment.
- Assist with fundraising efforts or marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in administrative or customer service roles.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Positive and professional demeanor with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Passion for the culinary industry and a desire to support student success.
