Procurement Engineer

Job Description

·        Process material requisitions according to customer’s timeline and technical requirements

·        Source for best price offers that meet required technical specifications and delivery time

·        Issue purchase orders in accordance with company policy and procedures

·        Expedite orders and follow up on suppliers to ensure timely delivery

·        Expand and update company’s supplier database

Job Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering)

·        Advanced computer skills and Microsoft software

·        Fluency in both written and spoken English

·        3-5 years of working experience related to petrochemical and oilfield equipment supply

·        Experience in purchasing machinery, spare parts and maintenance equipment is preferred

·        Good knowledge of legal, financial procedures and shipping procedures is preferred
