A public Libyan oil company working in the field of oil operations would like to hire an employee according to the following job description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE:                 Production Supervisor- production technician        Job Grade: 5                                                                            

DEPARTMENT:           Operations/production

REPORTS TO:              Superintendent Plant SPT C96

RESPONSIBLE FOR:   No staff

LOCATION:                 GOSP&GUP A91 and GOSP Nakhla A107

WORK MODE:             12-hour shift, 4 week on/off cycle

OBJECTIVES OF JOB

The production supervisor will be responsible for operating gas oil separation plants, the gas utilization plant, salt-water disposal, or gas lift plant in concessions A91 or Nakhla GOSP A107 depending on where he will be located. The location may change, subject to operational considerations. Good English oral and writing skills are necessary to ensure that a team environment can be established with the international work force that is in place.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out daily and weekly routine checks for all facilities in The GOSP & GUP or Nakhla GOSP.
• Operate the facilities according to good oilfield practice.
• Actively promote a safe working environment.
• Ensure 100 % compliance with the Permit to Work (PTW) system
• Preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
• Isolate, shut down and restart equipment for the maintenance crew
• Support the optimization of process facilities to achieve safe operation and maximized plant efficiency.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of projects related his area of responsibility
• Assist in the update of procedures and P&ID’s
• Support all colleagues and integrate new employees.
• Ensure perfect housekeeping inside the GOSP & GUP.
