Background:
Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Organization (STACO) is committed to delivering
humanitarian aid, development assistance, and advocacy across Libya. Our initiatives focus
on community development, education, healthcare, and providing essential aid to
vulnerable populations, including internally displaced persons (IDPs), migrants, and those
affected by crises.
As part of our efforts to support our expanding operations, we are seeking a dedicated
Program Assistant – Volunteer to support our Program Manager and contribute to the
successful implementation of various projects. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on
experience in program management within the humanitarian sector while supporting
impactful work on the ground.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Program Manager with the coordination and implementation of STACO’s
projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and objectives.
• Support in the preparation of project documents, including reports, proposals, and
monitoring tools.
• Maintain accurate records of program activities, including monitoring data and
beneficiary feedback.
• Assist in the organization of workshops, training sessions, and other events related to
STACO’s programs.
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders, including beneficiaries, donors,
and local partners, to facilitate program delivery.
• Provide logistical and administrative support, including scheduling meetings,
preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
• Support the collection and management of data for reporting and evaluation
purposes
