Our ideal applicant will be in charge of developing and implementing our purchasing strategy. You’ll have solid purchasing, supply chain, and warehouse experience, as well as great communication and detail-oriented abilities. You’ll be in charge of our purchasing strategies, as well as evaluating and collaborating with internal departments.
Main Roles and Responsibilities:
- Use data from our systems to generate recommendations for lowering expenses and inventory without compromising service.
- Inventory checks, restocking supplies and stock as needed, and reporting any faulty products or irregularities as soon as possible.
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with clients, vendors, and suppliers.
- Using our sales data to figure out what we need to buy and how to manage our inventory to maximize our sales.
- Compile and prepare the data/reports needed to make informed purchase decisions.
- Manage escalation events from production to the supplier for a variety of difficulties, including delivery challenges, quality issues, and payment questions.
- Planning distribution centers for efficiency in both operations and capacity.
- Managing purchase orders, keeping track of shipment schedules, and keeping track of purchase records in the system.
- Collaborate closely with the warehouse staff to ensure that arriving products are properly managed.
- Scheduling and booking containers from our suppliers.
- Conducting product research and identifying new vendors and suppliers.
- Ensure supplier quality and social compliance.
- Examine freight rates and other transportation expenditures to keep working costs low.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Required/Desired:
- A minimum of two years’ experience as a purchasing manager or in a related job is required.
- Have experience or interest in the gaming industry is desirable.
- A bachelor’s degree or similar experience is required.
- Excellent attitude, work ethic, and spirit of collaboration.
- Creativity is required.
- Capability to multitask.
- Work independently and prioritize workload.
- Pay attention to the details.
- Good negotiation skills.
- The ability to learn on the job and adjust to changing processes.
- Good skills in data collection and analysis.
- Good experience in supply chain and inventory management
- Good communication abilities.
- High organizational and planning skills
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Have the foresight to develop a strong brand and keep it going in the long run.
