Rotating Mechanical Maintenance Senior Technician

Coordinates and execute, under supervision of Rotating Maintenance Supervisor and in agreement with the Company Policies and Safety &Environment Standards, the following tasks:

• Trouble shoot, repair, overhaul, and carry out al types of maintenance to plant rotating equipment e.g. pumps, air compressors, air blowers gear boxes, power generators, turbine auxiliary equipment different type and manufacturers (Flowserve, Atlas Copco, Howden, Dresser Rand. Flender, etc. )
• Disassemble equipment to be repaired or overhauled, check visually and dimensionally, parts & units by sliding gauges, micrometrical gauges centesimal comparators, compare values found with those on manufacture tolerance & maintenance reference tables. 
• Identify and request his superior the approval for the required spare parts.
• Use and able to interpret technical manual and manufacture tolerance values.

• Perform machinery alignment according to standard alignment methods.

• Able to issue a basic technical report related his job, shows numerical measurements.

• Relay all significant technical information or data to his supervisor that could be useful for future jobs or maintenance plan

• Ensures use of proper tools, PPE, among his team

• Abel to work as team leader of multi nationalities, instruct and train local junior staff. Assists the supervisor to improve the productivity of local staff.

• Fit to work in confined spaces, heights, humidity environmental as the nature of the job may require.

Educational Level and Training:

•Secondary school supported by taken special courses as optional

•English language literate.

•Safety cources and H2S, optional .

Required Experience:

• Not less than 5 years experience as Sr Rotating Mechanical Maintenance senior technician ni Oil and Gas Industry, preferably gas plants.

• Thorough knowledge on using various mechanical gauges and test devices (sliding gauges, micrometer, centesimal comparators, etc.) and comparing related values with those reported in the mechanical drawings.

• Thorough knowledge on reading mechanical drawings, interpret manufacture technical manuals and instructions

• Thorough knowledge on theory of pumps, compressors, auxiliary mechanical.
