Context:
Under the overall supervision of the Deputy Chief of Mission and direct supervision of the Programme Coordinator of IOM Libya’s Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM), the incumbent will be responsible for the responsibilities listed below.
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
- Lead operational coordination with national partners on information management technical assistance related to surveillance and Point-of-Entry data collection.
- Lead data visualization and graphic design of DTM’s external reports
- Ensure health-related data collection implemented as part of flow monitoring, surveillance and mobility tracking activities is in line with global standards and coordinated closely with IOM’s Migrant Health Division
- Coordinate implementation of selected thematic assessments and support reporting and analysis process, including those related to DTM’s Covid Impact Tracking;
- Support, identify and analyse existing data collection systems and structure capacities, availability of relevant datasets, and data and information gaps. Design effective solutions to meet needs in an accurate and timely manner.
- Coordinate Monitoring & Evaluation of DTM field activities in close collaboration with DTM’s data analysts
- Provide guidance to field data collectors and organize needed trainings, including remote support;
- Carry out assessment activities
- Verify the accuracy of the information collected on the field
- Report regularly on the activities conducted and any issues encountered in the project implementation and make relevant recommendations;
- Any other related duties as may be assigned.

Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
- University degree in related field;
Experience
- Preferable at least three years of relevant work experience
- Work experience from an international organization is an advantage
Skills
- Good writing, communication and negotiation skills
- Solid command of Microsoft Excel and Adobe InDesign
- Personal commitment, efficiency, flexibility, drive for results; capacity to work effectively and harmoniously within a team of colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds.
Languages
- Fluency in English and Arabic (oral and written).
