Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and creative Social Media Officer to join our team. As a Social Media officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. You will be working closely with the Marketing and Sales departments.

 

Social Media Officer duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy.
  • Write, Manage and oversee social media content.
  • Coordination and follow-up of the design team to accomplish the tasks of designing posts for social media platforms
  • Create a Monthly Plan for social media Posts and Content (in collaboration with the sales Team)
  • Facilitate scaling brand and company awareness through various social media channels.
  • Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between customers and the company, and ensure a positive customer service experience.
  • Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, and LinkedIn
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Analyze competitor’s activity.
  • regularly liaise and respond to clients via telephone, email,

job requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Officer.
  • high skills to use a range of social media platforms, particularly in relation to advertising/branding and customers.
  • strong copywriting and editing skills suitable for each platform, from knowing how to write a successful tweet to use effective storytelling techniques.
  • creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas.
  • strong communication skills for articulating ideas to colleagues and clients.
  • excellent team working, collaboration, and networking skills.
  • organizational skills, with the capacity to prioritize and work across multiple projects.
  • the ability to work well under pressure in order to meet deadlines.
  • online community management and customer service skills to strike the balance between publicity and stimulating direct discussion with potential and actual customers.
  • Intermediate English language skills.
  • 1 – 2-year experience in a relevant position.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office.
  • bachelor’s degree in marketing or related fields
