Job description

Overview of position |
Our client will expand its support in building capacities at municipal council level among others in planning, budgeting, financial management and accountability, and increase the skills-set in managing the newly transferred competencies including local revenue collection. (3) Increasing democratic citizens’ participation (women, and youth in particular) at municipal council level during the lifespan of an elected council. Increased community participation and dialogue within and among municipalities across Libya will increase social cohesion and foster national unity. Our client seeks to engage a National South- South Partnership Consultant to provide expertise and support to enhance the effectiveness of local governance in Libya. The consultant will collaborate with the Ministry of Local Governance (MoLG) and General Information Authority (GIA) to improve governance practices, address challenges, and promote sustainable development at the local level. |
