Spare parts Sales Executive

Job Overview

JOB PURPOSE: A brief but complete statement describing why the position exists
Responsible for the successful day-to-day running of a branch.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES: Responsibilities for the position and the expected end result including tasks

  • Supervise
  1. Assist the Branch Manager in leading, directing and motivating the counter sales team in order to achieve the overall corporate sales objectives.
  2. Drafting and submit the local Purchase requests to the branch manager approval.
  3. Handles requests for general information, inquiries regarding policies and procedures, and complaints
  4. Prepares comprehensive written reports to branch and parts manager
  5. Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease delivery times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly with branch manager to provide quality seamless customer service.
  6. Maintain harmonious relationships with customers, departments, to assist and ensure the company objectives are achieved.
  7. Assist and support the Inventory and branch manager in reviewing, implementing policies, co-ordination of activities and enhancements, of the branch.
  • Inventory
  1. Ensure that the stock replenishment systems used by the branch are performing accurately and items / quantities requests processed by the branch are correct.
  2. Maximum sales with minimum stock, through accurate stock replenishment timing / quantity optimisation.
  3. Do a random monthly warehouse inventory evolution and compare it with the actual recorded figures and file a discrepancy report to the branch manager and parts manager with the result and any irregularities.
  4. Monitor personally the safety conditions, cleaning and the storing for spare parts on periodic basis.
  • Marketing
  1. Help in Monitoring market environment and feedback to branch manager.
  2. Build relationship with customers for long term partnership and mutual benefits.
  • Customer Relations & Staffing
  1. Assist the Branch manager in selecting, training, and assigning work to sales and support staff.
  2. Assist branch personnel with Parts Catalogue interpretation.
  3. Ensure that an optimum skill and knowledge is maintained.
  4. Identify the needs and develop training courses for counter sales personnel.
  5. Ensuring the appropriate level of conduct with all customers is maintained.
  • Logistics
  • Dealing with shipping lines to get the best shipping rates & services 
  • Arranging shipments with the suppliers & shipping lines/ Freight Forwarders
  • Tracking the Shipments with the suppliers, Shipping lines & clearing sections until arrival
  • Handling & Controlling the Free Zone receipt & sales & arranging the priorities for the initial & final clearing.
  • Optimize warehouse utilization through effective planning and shipment execution.
