JOB TITLE Sr. IT Technician

Work Mode: 28 days ON / 28 days Off: 06:00 – 18:00
OBJECTIVES OF JOB
Provide technical assistance and support to end users on all matters related computer systems, printers, hardware, and software. Responsible for answering queries and responding to users’ requests and addressing systems and user issues in a timely and professional manner.
Effectively communicate technical information and policies and procedures to employees and IT team members in person, phone and email.
Work closely with IT and Telecom teams and participate in all technical activities whenever required. Cover colleagues’ absence when necessary.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze and troubleshoot basic problems of IT systems (computers and peripherals)
- Analyze and troubleshoot all standard and business software issues (applications and Windows operating system)
- Identify and solve basic problems related to Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN) and internet connection/access.
- Install, configure, maintain, and prepare users’ computers
- User and technical support on multifunctioning print devices.
- Perform preventative maintenance including the installation of software service packs, patches, malware and spyware scans.
- Set up, support, and troubleshoot multimedia equipment, videoconference, TV and beamers in training and conference rooms.
- Provide support to users on cloud services including OneDrive, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams etc.
- Contribute to creating and updating ICT documentations and knowledge base information.
- Respond to users’ support requests and provide support in professional and timely manner
- Adhere to ICT internal workflows, guidelines, and policies.
- Report employees’ feedback concerning their experience using the company’s computers, hardware, software and solutions.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High diploma or higher certificate in Information Technology or Telecommunications
- Intermediate English language
- Building up knowledge with self-study learning concept.
- Good knowledge of operating systems, business applications, printing systems and networks
- Good knowledge of (AD) Active Directory environment
- Defensive driving training (applicant may be required to drive to other locations)
