Main Purpose of the position | In general, the field officer supervises and manages the delivery of purchased materials to the facilities identified by the project. He/she supports the activities of the Community
Health workers s and Training on the Job teams from a logistical point of view. |
Specific responsibilities:
- Under the supervision of the Procurement Expert in Tripoli, the Field offices follows the supply orders, procurement process, transportation and manages the delivery of the items. In particular, in collaboration with the Health Focal point, he/she verifies that the supply orders correspond to the material to be distributed in each
- He/she is responsible for submitting the documentation (delivery orders, signed delivery notes…) related to the above activities to the Procurement Expert in
- In collaboration with the Project Manager, he/she ensures the project activities implementation providing ongoing technical and logistical support to the teams of Community Health
- In collaboration with the Medical Coordinator, he/she ensures the project activities implementation providing ongoing technical and logistical support to the Training on the Job
- In collaboration with the Medical Coordinator, he/she provides ongoing technical and logistical support to the Trainers to perform training to the health facilities’
- During the rehabilitation works and provision of solar panels, he/she accompanies the engineer during the field
- He/she maintains daily contacts with the Health Centres and relevant
- He/she ensures close collaboration and coordination with cooperating partners to guarantee the smooth implementation of activities and achievement of results as specified in grant
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- At least two years of relevant professional experience preferable with INGOs
- Background in Emergency/Project Management,
- Relevant previous experience as Logistician/ Procurement officer
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong oral and written communication and team building skills
- Substantial experience in leading teams of national
- Excellent working level of Arab and
- Good knowledge of working software and database
