Job description

Overview of position Under the overall supervision of the Programme Manager and direct supervision of the CS Project Officer, the Trainer will be responsible to develop and provide specialized coaching and facilitation for women with autistic children participating in the weekly Women’s Salon. 
Role objectives
  • Facilitate sessions with groups of women with autistic children.
  • Employ relevant adult learning and expertise to coach participants in better and more positive ways of supporting their children, families, and themselves. This includes a variety of practical exercises for participants.
  • Address all queries of training participants.
  • Develop an agenda in collaboration with IOM and in line with the participants needs.
  • Develop M&E tools and all relevant materials required for the training and obtain approval from supervisor for final version of training materials; undertake any modifications requested by IOM.
  • Coordinate with IOM field staff to immediately address any issues or concerns, and overall ensure the training is successfully implemented.
