Key Account Specialist (Devices & Equipment)

Job Description

Responsibilities

1. Create and maintain a pipeline of medical device leads and opportunities with the support of sales and marketing
2. Expand business and customer loyalty within strategic accounts, influence the partners (typically medical device engineering, product development, & business development teams)
3. Define and negotiate the terms of the contracts; getting the support and approval from all stakeholders either internally and from the clients
4. Develop and maintain superior relationships with key decision makers and influencers at customer accounts
5. Exhibit a high level of proficiency and expertise in demonstrating and/or presenting products, processes, and services
6. Serve as an industry specialist: including active participation in the professional medical device community, attending industry events, conferences and communicating relevant industry trends and best practices to clients that ultimately create demand
7. Contribute to building innovative products within this industry through understanding of trends and customer needs

Requirements and Qualifications

1. Bachelor in Business or equivalent in education
2. 2+ years related sales experience
3. Experience in sales of medical devices highly preferred.
4. General understanding of business objectives.
5. Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives.
6. Strong knowledge of Sales processes and procedures required.
7. Requires outstanding oral and written communications skills, comprehension skills, knowledge of sales principals and average computer skills.
