Senior Mechanic

Safi National for oil & energy services would like to hire “Senior Mechanic” to join our team.

v  Responsibilities:

• Performs daily work activity and repairs of Mechanical equipment.

• Assistance FOREMAN in management of MECHANICAL JUNIOR, scheduling and recording of inspections and maintenance operations.

• Assist specialists working under specific contract (for example MAN Representatives, etc.).

• Ensures that all mechanic spare parts are correctly stored.

• Performing the weekly test of Emergency Diesel Generator, Emergency Starting Air Compressor, Fire Fighting Pumps, all as per procedures.

• Following Maintenance procedures in place:

Ø  Visually checks the condition of equipment (Accommodation / Engine Room & Process).

Ø  Performs Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 maintenance on the equipment.

Ø  Visually inspect the safety equipment and reports any anomaly.

Ø  Maintenance / overhaul of small & medium rotating and reciprocating equipment, pipelines, valves & vessels.

• Light / basic mechanical construction (Light piping work, welding, etc.)

• Able to work independently in the workshop with a welding, lathe machine, milling, grinding machines & other cutting and electrical tools.

• Use of pressure relief valve testing bench.

• Handling & Maintenance of crane.

v  Qualifications:

• Technical mechanical background and education.

• 5 years’ experience in maintenance environment.

• Fluency in English.
